Job summary

Mason Technology is recruiting a Technical Sales Consultant to drive growth of the Microscopy and Specialist Laboratory Solutions across Ireland. You will engage researchers, clinicians and procurement teams, delivering demonstrations, training and tailored solutions to support clinical diagnostics and life sciences research.

The role combines technical expertise with consultative selling and relationship management, supported by product training from internal teams and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical sales, lab-based roles or application support.
• Strong understanding of laboratory environments within clinical, academic or life science settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of Mason Technology's Microscopy and Specialist Laboratory Solutions portfolio.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within academic research, clinical laboratories, teaching hospitals, biotechnology organisations and research institutes.
• Build strategic relationships with researchers, laboratory managers, clinicians, professors and procurement personnel.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations and demonstrations to identify opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts and opportunities through the company CRM system.
• Deliver revenue and growth targets within the assigned territory.
