Job summary

Santos Dumont Limited in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a full-time role based in Dublin. The position involves delivering project management solutions to airline and financial sector clients and coordinating cross-functional teams.

You will report to the Chief Technical Officer and oversee all technical aspects of aircraft and engine deliveries, redeliveries, and related CAMO requirements. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in airlines, MRO, OEM, lessor, CAMO or aircraft management.
• Experience in aircraft transitions and delivery/redelivery projects.
• Experience leading inspections, maintenance status assessments and airworthiness evaluations.
• Knowledge of airworthiness directives, regulations and CAMO requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Reporting to: Chief Technical Officer

Responsibilities and key accountabilities:

Delivering project management solutions to customers including airlines, leasing companies and/or financial institutions.

Contributing to the development of project management processes and reporting to customers at agreed intervals.

Responsible for all technical aspects of aircraft and engine deliveries/redeliveries acceptance and returns.

Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy, correctness and completeness.

Providing proactive advice on aircraft and engine specific technical/leasing matters.

Co-ordinating discussions and managing meetings with customers and stakeholders

Providing technical expertise/support in relation to aircraft acquisition/disposal transactions.

Managing all technical aspects in respect of contracted aircraft/engine maintenance events.

Management of technical consultant teams.

Skills and Experience:

Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.

5+ years’ experience working for an airline, MRO, OEM, Lessor, CAMO or aircraft management company.

Experience in aircraft transitions and aircraft delivery/redelivery/repossession projects.

Experienced in leading and carrying out aircraft inspections, maintenance status assessments, and airworthiness evaluations.

Understanding and experience of airworthiness directives, regulations and mandates.

Understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and CAMO requirements.

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.

• Sound business knowledge and judgement, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Competent at auditing aircraft records.
• High attention to accuracy and detail.

• Excellent time management and ability to identify priority tasks.
