Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Technical Lead to design, develop and govern enterprise solutions within the FX Hub Technology Team, offering a hybrid work pattern with 2–3 days onsite.

You will lead architecture and delivery of .NET Core, C#, React, Kafka, OpenShift and microservices, mentor teams, and ensure high quality code with CI/CD practices aligned to business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core (C#) and T-SQL, ReactJS, Kafka as a Service
• REST APIs, Websockets, SQL Server 2019/2022, OpenShift, Docker, microservices, Bitbucket, GitHub
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects; SME in at least one area
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly; demonstrated leadership and project management

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust .NET applications and REST APIs for enterprise platforms
• Work in a modern engineering environment with C#, .NET Core, React, Kafka, OpenShift, Docker, microservices, CI/CD
• Continue to improve code quality, performance, and reliability across enterprise solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning and risk assessments
• Monitor development processes from analysis to implementation and provide user support
• Advise on security measures post-implementation and ensure system design integrity
• Collaborate with users/clients and tech groups on issues and solutions
• Mentor junior analysts and operate with limited supervision; act as SME

The Role

As a member of our FX Hub Technology Team, the Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and managing the delivery of solutions that align with the strategic vision for our business. • To design and build robust .NET application and Rest APIs that support mission‑critical enterprise platforms.
• To work in a modern engineering environment with strong C#, .NET Core, React JS, KAFKA, Open shift, Docker, Microservices, CI/CD practices and T‑SQL.
• To continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability while contributing to enterprise‑scale solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Strong proficiency: .Net core (C# language) and T‑SQL , reactjs, Kaas (Kafka as a Service)
• Proficiency: REST APIs, Websockets, Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, Openshift, docker, microservices, bitbucket, Github, Github Copilot
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience

• Experience as Team Lead/Technical Lead who manages the team.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Exposure to REST APIs, Open shift, Docker.
• Experience with .NET Core, React JS, KAFKA and SQL Server, T‑SQL.
