EPAM Systems is seeking a Technical Delivery Director – AI, Agentic Systems & Production AI in Dublin. You will lead adoption of Generative AI across enterprise environments and drive production-ready platforms from concept to delivery.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on accountability, engaging with client executives and delivery teams to shape AI strategies and executable architectures while maintaining governance and budgets.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience in consulting or delivery environments.
• Proven ability to deliver AI or Generative AI solutions into production with cost, reliability, security and quality accountability.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI patterns and context integration protocols such as MCP.
• Strong foundations in software engineering, cloud platforms, data or architecture.
• Experience leading large-scale programs with responsibility for outcomes and budgets.
• Understanding of security, data protection and compliance in regulated environments.

Job description

EPAM is looking for a Technical Delivery Director – AI, Agentic Systems & Production AI to join our rapidly growing team in Dublin, Ireland, in a hybrid working mode.

In this position, you will lead the adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI across enterprise environments, ensuring programs successfully transition from proof of concept into production-ready platforms. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on accountability, enabling you to work directly with client executives and delivery teams to shape AI strategies, define executable architectures and manage complex AI-driven initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for delivering complex AI-enabled programs from discovery through operation ensuring alignment to client strategy and measurable outcomes
• Lead the design and implementation of production AI systems that meet enterprise reliability, security and operational requirements
• Act as an AI and Agentic AI delivery lead coaching teams on orchestration, tool use, context management and human-in-the-loop practices
• Deliver AI programs integrating LLMs with enterprise microservices and platforms leveraging structured context layers and protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Analyse and validate AI architectural designs including data flows, model interactions, integration strategies and operational trade-offs
• Manage multi-stream delivery across AI platforms, cloud, security, integration and change ensuring predictability and quality
• Serve as a trusted advisor translating AI strategies into executable roadmaps and architectural patterns
• Establish and maintain robust delivery governance with ownership of budgets, risk control and commercial performance
• Identify and mitigate AI delivery risks such as hallucination, insecure tool invocation, context leakage, model drift, cost fluctuations and compliance issues
• Support pre-sales efforts by shaping proposals, estimates, delivery models and statements of work for large-scale AI initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI or a related discipline or equivalent senior-level experience
• Demonstrated experience in senior technology leadership within consulting or delivery environments
• Proven ability to deliver AI or Generative AI solutions into production with accountability for cost, reliability, security and quality
• Practical ability to describe one or more production AI systems delivered including architecture, integration approach and operational considerations
• Knowledge of Agentic AI patterns, tool orchestration and structured context integration protocols such as MCP
• Strong technical foundations in software engineering, cloud platforms, data or architecture
• Experience leading large-scale programs with full responsibility for outcomes and budgets
• Understanding of security, data protection and compliance when delivering projects in regulated environments such as Financial Services
• Proven capability acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders including C-suite executives
• Background in pre-sales and commercial shaping with experience in fixed-price or outcome-based delivery
