Job summary
The Rehab Group is seeking a Team Leader/Staff Nurse for Abbey Lodge Service in Ballinamore. You will lead the team, support the Clinical Nurse Manager 2, and oversee person-centred residential care for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Key responsibilities include implementing nursing models, coaching the team, ensuring medication handling compliance, and maintaining HIQA standards while promoting dignity and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Full registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or equivalent.
- Experience of working with individuals with Intellectual Disability.
- Experience in managing and supervising staff and teams.
- Experience in designing and developing staff rotas (day/evening/sleep-in).
- Commitment to person-centred care and HIQA standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the respite service and support the Clinical Nurse Manager 2.
- Coach and supervise staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and medications management.
- Promote a philosophy of care focused on dignity, normalisation and quality of life.
