Job summary

Harvey Nash Group in Dublin is seeking a System Engineer to join a hybrid cloud software team. You will architect and deliver cloud-native infrastructure for Tier-0 services, focusing on Kubernetes, Crossplane, and IaC.

The role emphasizes migration projects, containerization, and Go tooling to streamline operations. You\'ll collaborate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and ensure secure, scalable designs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years infrastructure, platform, or SRE experience.
• 3+ years Kubernetes production experience (architecture).
• 2+ years IaC using Terraform for public cloud.
• Proven migration lead on infrastructure modernization.
• Strong cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code mindset.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native reengineering for Tier-0 services (DNS/LDAP/DHCP/CDN).
• Design Kubernetes cluster architecture and readiness on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Lead Crossplane architecture for infrastructure orchestration.
• Containerize internal tooling and orchestration workflows.
• Plan migrations and provide execution support.
• Develop Go tooling as needed.

One of our cloud software company is looking for a System Engineer based in Dublin/Hybrid.

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Location: Dublin

Contract Length: Until 02/07/2027

Working Hours: 8 hours per day/ 40 per week

What you will do:

• Architect cloud-native reengineering for Tier-0 services - DNS, LDAP, DHCP, CDN, Cloud Networking
• Kubernetes cluster architecture + operational readiness on hyperscalers - Azure, AWS, GCP
• Lead Crossplane architecture for infrastructure orchestration across hyperscalers
• Containerization of internal tooling + orchestration workflows
• Migration planning + execution support
• Go tooling development where needed

What you will have:

• 7+ years infrastructure/platform/SRE
• 3+ years Kubernetes production (architecture, not ops only)
• 2+ years Terraform/IaC for public cloud
• Proven migration lead on infrastructure modernization
• Comfort with "everything is code" in cloud-native context
• Kubernetes production architecture
