Job summary

Adrian Lee & Partners – Active Asset and Currency Management is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to join our team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of systems administration experience and strong expertise in Windows desktop/server OS, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.

The role requires a solid technical aptitude, good people skills and the ability to work well in a team, with familiarity in security practices, virtualization

Qualifications

• Six+ years in a systems administrator role.
• Hands-on with strong technical aptitude and teamwork.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 11 and Server 2019+; MCSE or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mastery of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Proficient in Office 365 administration suite.
• Experience with Symantec or equivalent enterprise endpoint protection.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper‑V).
• Experience with DR/BCP processes.
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam).
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem apps (MDT, Intune, WSUS).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and TCP/IP.
• Understanding IT security practices and trends.
• Hardware/software maintenance and procurement.
• Familiarity with Lansweeper or similar deployment tools.

Desired skills and experience

• At least six years’ experience in a systems administrator role.
• Hands-on with a solid technical aptitude, good people skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop/Server operating systems. Microsoft Windows 11, Server 2019 +. - Ideally MCSE or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration suite.
• Strong knowledge of Symantec endpoint protection manager or equivalent enterprise endpoint solution.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper‑V).
• Experience with Server and Service Disaster Recovery Processes.
• Experience with Enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam).
• Broad-based knowledge of applications in the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., MDT, Intune, WSUS).
• Familiarity/Working knowledge networking/network features and technologies (e.g., Enterprise firewalls, TCP/IP).
• Good understanding of IT Security practices, methodologies, tools mechanisms and trends.
