Job summary

AMCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to shape our cloud-based platform. You’ll lead architectural decisions, align with product roadmaps and drive secure, scalable solutions across teams.

You will leverage Microsoft tech stack, Azure services, and containerization to deliver enterprise-grade software while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of development experience with a focus on software architecture and delivery.
• 3+ years in a Software, Technical or Solution Architecture role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and design patterns.
• Experience building reliable distributed enterprise systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define the Product Roadmap with Product and Engineering management and set designs.
• Implement a cloud-based platform that is secure, cost-efficient, reliable, performant and scalable.
• Define and maintain software architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure software solutions.
• Communicate non-functional requirements and designs clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate to reduce strategic technical debt and align with architectural goals.
• Evaluate tools, technologies and processes to ensure high-quality platform.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams.
• Contribute to core platform packages and templates and stay abreast of tech advances.
• Partner with Architecture, DevOps and Platform Engineering to automate deployments and governance.
• Ensure data security, privacy and regulatory compliance.
