Job summary
AMCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our Architecture team in Ireland. You will shape the design and architecture of our cloud-based platform, with a focus on reliability, security and scalability, leveraging the Microsoft stack and related cloud services.
You will lead architectural design decisions, collaborate across BU Engineering and Product teams, mentor developers, and drive best practices, NFRs and DevOps alignment to deliver enterprise-grade solutions at
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of development experience.
- At least 3 years in software, technical or solution architecture.
- Strong cloud-native design patterns and distributed systems.
- Experience with Microsoft stack (.NET, Web API, Azure services).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Define the Product Roadmap and accompanying designs.
- Implement a cloud-based platform that is secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Define and maintain software architecture standards.
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions.
- Communicate non-functional requirements clearly.
- Collaborate with dev teams to align with architecture goals.
- Evaluate tools, technologies and processes for quality.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical direction.
- Contribute to core platform packages and templates.
- Stay updated on tech advances to improve the platform.
