Job summary

AMCS Group seeks a highly skilled Software Architect to join our Architecture team. You will design and evolve our cloud-based platform using the latest technologies, working with cross-BU Engineering and Product teams to ensure architectural alignment for scalable enterprise solutions.

You will bring deep Microsoft tech expertise and familiarity with other cloud offerings, while contributing to core platform offerings and advancing NFRs, security, and data privacy across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of development experience.
• 3+ years in Software, Technical or Solution Architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and design patterns.
• Experience building scalable, reliable distributed enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET), Azure services, and DevOps.
• Familiarity with GCP offerings and container tech (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with SDLC, DDD, TDD, CI/CD, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define Product Roadmap and technical enablers with Product and Engineering Management.
• Lead secure, cost-efficient, reliable, scalable cloud platform design and implementation.
• Maintain software architecture standards and best practices.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams.
• Communicate non-functional requirements clearly and manage debt.
• Collaborate to ensure alignment with architectural goals and designs.
• Evaluate tools and technologies to ensure high-quality platform products.
• Contribute to core platform packages and stay updated on new tech.
