Job summary

Noel Group is seeking an experienced Sustainability Lead in Dublin to drive strategy across building and infrastructure projects. This senior role focuses on reducing carbon, improving energy performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead energy modelling, performance assessments and redesigns, mentor colleagues, and represent the practice in client meetings, maintaining a strong focus on LEED, BREEAM and net-zero principles within the Irish built environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Sustainability, Building Services Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering sustainability strategies within the Irish construction, building services or property sector.
• Strong knowledge of LEED and BREEAM, Irish Building Regulations (Part L), building energy modelling and performance assessments, overheating and thermal comfort analysis, and low-carbon/net-zero design principles.
• Experience producing technical reports and client-facing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability strategies across building and infrastructure projects.
• Advise on sustainable design, energy efficiency, carbon reduction and environmental compliance.
• Deliver sustainability assessments, audits, energy modelling and technical reports.
• Support projects in achieving LEED, BREEAM and other sustainability certifications.
• Carry out building performance assessments and recommend improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and value engineering exercises.
• Act as the sustainability SME in client and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor changes in Irish regulations, industry standards and best practice.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of sustainability standards and processes.
