Job summary

Flynn Ireland seeks an experienced ESG Lead to steer the environmental and ESG agenda across major projects in Dublin and beyond. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and deliver sustainability objectives for the organisation.

Reporting to the Group HSQE Manager, you will develop ESG plans, manage data, lead audits, and engage with clients, regulators and suppliers to embed responsible practices into project delivery.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in EHS or related discipline.
• 5+ years on large scale commercial/construction projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ESG requirements and best practices.
• Experience with ISO 14001 systems and sustainability reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's ESG agenda, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Monitor ESG legislation and standards, advising senior management on strategic direction.
• Maintain environmental legal registers and advise on regulatory changes.
• Develop and implement Environmental and ESG plans for projects with support to HSQE teams.
• Conduct ESG audits, compliance reviews and support non-conformance closeouts.
• Lead ESG data management, reporting and KPI generation for management reviews.
• Coordinate training, communications and tender/pre-qualification ESG sections.
• Engage with clients, investors and supply chains on ESG matters.
