Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is currently hiring Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for relief and ongoing agency opportunities across Galway South and East. We value candidates with good weekly availability and flexibility for day, night, weekend shifts, depending on service requirements.

Ideal for recent QQI Level 5 graduates, offering HSE-aligned rates and the chance to gain experience across multiple healthcare settings. Support from our recruitment and scheduling team is provided.

Qualifications

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award with all 8 modules completed in Healthcare Support/Nursing/Health Service Skills/Community Health Services.
• Good weekly availability and flexibility for agency shifts.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the vetting process.
• Three satisfactory employment references.
• Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief/agency care across Galway settings as required by service needs.
• Maintain reliable weekly availability to support agency scheduling.
