Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a Support Worker for ROI in Killylastin, Co. Donegal.

The role involves assisting individuals with independent living skills, implementing person-centred plans, and maintaining safety within a supportive team, with flexible patterns including full-time, part-time and relief. All salaries are based on 39 hours (FTE) and pro rata; sleep-ins attract an extra payment of €101.60 per night.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to develop independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans.
• Prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
• Collaborate with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, resolving conflicts with appropriate techniques.
• Ensure that medication is stored and administered per Praxis Care’s Medication Policy.
• Familiarise yourself with service administrative requirements and logging per guidelines.
• Be aware of all policies and participate in related training including Health & Safety.
