Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a Support Worker for the ROI- Crobally Residential Service. You will help individuals develop independent living skills, assist with domestic/social/personal care, and support person-centred plans within a respectful, dignified setting.

We offer flexible patterns (full-time, part-time, relief) with salaries based on 39 hours FTE and pro-rata adjustments. Sleep-ins add €101.60 per night. A full driving licence and vehicle access are preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential: Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Essential: Effective communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience working within the health and social care field.
• Right to Work in ROI/Ireland required.
• Full valid ROI/EU/UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills.
• Prepare and implement individual and group support programmes with Team Leaders.
• Promote a safe environment and resolve situations involving conflict or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered per policy where necessary.
• Keep administrative records and comply with reporting guidelines.
• Attend all relevant training and adhere to health and safety policies.
