Job summary

Oakpark Foods, based in Cahir, County Tipperary, seeks a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to support the operations and coordinate with Planning, Finance, Sales & Marketing, IT and Quality Control. The role involves inputting sales orders (EDI), coordinating domestic and export loads, stock movements, and liaising with distribution centres across Ireland and Great Britain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and industry experience would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of IT software packages with strong Excel knowledge.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Third level qualification an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sales order inputting onto the software system daily (EDI) and ensure accuracy.
• Reviewing, confirming, and inputting customer orders serviced from third party logistics.
• Co-ordinating collection times for domestic and export loads.
• Load optimisation to deliver optimum unit cost of distribution.
• Managing stock movements in third party locations in Ireland & Great Britain.
• Liaising with customer distribution centres in Ireland & Great Britain.
• Managing haulage and distribution partners daily.
• Completing Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) for customers and 3PL locations.
• Arranging daily product intake times with raw material suppliers for Cahir & Clonmel sites.
• Managing returnable packaging stock and movements with Irish & European suppliers.
• Daily stock movements between sites and a 3rd party stock location for cost efficiency.
• Completing customs declarations, Traces Export Health Certificate, and IPAFFS for loads to GB.
• Liaising with Department of Agriculture to ensure EHCs are correct and signed off.
• Attending internal planning & logistics meetings.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with despatch team to ensure timely shipping.
• Respond to customer queries and follow up to resolve matters.
• Run daily reports, reconcile, summarize and share with departments.
• Address shipment and inventory issues.
