Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a client in Wicklow Town. This permanent full-time role offers a chance to contribute to a growing organization by managing procurement activities and coordinating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has procurement or supply chain experience, strong negotiation and time-management skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain or logistics is highly beneficial.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong time keeping and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicating with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues.
• Coordinating with the production and sales departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
• Monitoring supplier performance and compliance with contracts.
• Tracking and expediting the delivery of goods and services as required
