Excel Recruitment seeks an experienced Supermarket Assistant Manager in Bray to support daily operations in a high-volume store. You will lead large teams across departments, drive sales and manage critical KPIs while stepping in for the Store Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Essential: Management experience within a large-format / big-box grocery retailer.
• Experience leading large teams across multiple departments.
• Strong commercial understanding and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day management and commercial performance of a high-volume supermarket.
• Lead and develop large teams across grocery, fresh, checkouts and other departments.
• Take full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Drive sales, productivity, availability and operational standards.
• Monitor KPIs such as sales, labour, waste, margin, stock loss and customer service.
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, holidays and labour costs.
