Job summary

Centra Bray is seeking an enthusiastic store team member to support daily operations and drive excellent customer service. You will help achieve sales targets, maintain stock integrity, and ensure a clean, safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

• Passion for grocery retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused service.
• Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager.
• Implement planograms and ensure the correct range is in place in store.
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard.
• Be a role model, lead by example, and foster teamwork and a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Develop and promote clear communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful environment.
• Support Store Manager in team development and training for smooth store running.
• Manage employee performance with regular feedback and recognition.
• Address customer queries professionally and in line with store policy.
• Understand margins across all departments and engage with new initiatives.

Main purpose of the role:
