Job summary

Arcadis Ireland invites applications for a Summer Intern Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer. The role provides hands-on exposure to design, implementation and maintenance of process-monitoring systems within pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities across Ireland and Europe.

You will work under experienced engineers, gaining experience across Front End to Detail Design, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA), and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Exhibit Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible).

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation and maintenance of I&C systems for pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities.
• Work under the guidance of experienced engineers to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations.
• Assist with front-end to detail design and handover to clients, ensuring GMP/regulatory compliance, process optimization and product quality.
