Job summary

Arcadis in Ireland invites aspiring engineers to join a paid intern or placement programme in Cork. You’ll gain hands-on insight into our work, supported by signposted training, and develop technical and professional skills across real projects and clients during 10–12 weeks or a 12‑month placement.

In the Process Department you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team across architectural, process, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, validation and construction management services,

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Demonstrate Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible).

Responsibilities

• Work in the Process Department as part of a team of Process Engineers conducting design activities for projects within life sciences.
• Gain understanding of how disciplines interact and how process design deliverables relate to other activities.
• Develop capability in process design through active projects and regular technical and personal training.
