Job summary

Arcadis is offering a paid Summer Intern Electrical Engineer role within our Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team in Ireland. You will gain hands-on experience on pharmaceutical, biotechnology and industrial projects, working with experienced engineers and project managers.

You will contribute to electrical power systems design, drawings, calculations and testing while developing both technical and professional skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical power distribution and building services design.
• Assist in producing electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Contribute to electrical design calculations including cable sizing and lighting studies.
• Gain experience in short-circuit, protection coordination and arc flash studies.
• Support development of utility service matrices and engineering databases.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports and project documentation.
