Trinity College Dublin is seeking an Administrative 2 to cover reduced hours within the Student Counselling Service (SCS). The role will support administrative tasks across the service, with placement at the SCS premises on South Leinster St and at Trinity Halls as needed.
Hours are 17.5 per week during term time (September to May), with flexibility and potential Saturday work. The appointment is pro-rated with a salary scale of €60,185 - €70,718 pro-rata per annum.

Post Summary: The main focus of this post is the provision of clinical assessments, brief counselling, and facilitation of groups and workshops. In addition to this, the post holder will be assigned a specific brief, such as: working with postgraduate students; groups and workshops; training; psychological response team and/or work on community outreach and prevention programs.
The post holder will work in the SCS premises in South Leinster St. adjacent to the main campus, and off-site to provide services in Trinity Halls and other University locations.
The SCS currently offers lunchtime opening and late evening opening on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
Please note: This is a (0.5FTE) term time only contract from September to May inclusive. The ability to be flexible and work outside of regular office hours is essential and you may be asked to work on some Saturdays during term time depending on the business' needs.
The specific purpose of this post is to fill an Administrative 2 vacancy to cover the reduced hours of the permanent post holder. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis as the original postholder is expected to return to fulltime hours. If the postholder does not return to work the post will be filled through open competition.
