Post Summary

The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology to join our collegiate and research-active staff team. The appointed individual will deliver high-quality teaching and project supervision to students on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and will help us build on our success as an internationally recognised, research- intensive University by conducting excellent research and building a research group to support this. We particularly welcome applications from those with a teaching and research profile who are able to complement and build on our areas of research strength in the School. In relation to Developmental Psychology, these include parenting and family processes, early cognition and language development, development of neurodiverse and neurotypical children, and youth mental health.

Post status

Tenure Track - This position is Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance, permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements

Salary

Appointment will be made on Assistant Professor Salary Scale (109BN) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy (€43,859 - €104,618 perannum)https://www.tcd.ie/hr/assets/pdf/monthly-academic.pdf
