Job summary

Trinity College Dublin’s Student Counselling Service seeks a part-time clinician to provide clinical assessments and brief counselling. The post involves facilitating groups/workshops and may include work with postgraduate students, training, and outreach across campus.

The role is 17.5 hours per week during term time, based at SCS premises on South Leinster Street and off-site at Trinity Halls. A pro-rated Administrative 2 salary scale applies, with flexibility to work some Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and brief counselling to service users.
• Facilitate groups and workshops as part of mental health support.
• Work with postgraduate students and various university groups.
• Assist with training and contribute to the psychology response team.
• Engage in community outreach and preventative mental health programs.
