Job summary

Arcadis is offering an Intern & Placement programme in Ireland for Civil or Structural Engineering students. You will gain hands-on exposure to real projects, with signposted training and mentorship to develop technical and professional skills over a 10–12‑week internship or 12‑month placement.

Graduating in 2027 or recently in 2025/2026 with a 2:2 in a relevant degree, you will learn Arcadis processes, collaborate with teams, and travel when required.

Qualifications

• You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
• You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject (Placement & Intern only).
• You will demonstrate Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
• You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working).

Responsibilities

• Assist with drawings, models, calculations, and technical reports.
• Support data collection, document preparation, and project administration.
• Participate in project meetings and coordination activities.
• Learn company standards, engineering processes, and digital delivery tools.
• Support site visits and surveys where appropriate.
