Job summary

Kota is building a foundational Strategy team to scale the business in 2026 and 2027. Reporting to the COO, this role focuses on shaping the end-to-end customer experience and collaborating across functions to deliver outstanding outcomes for Kota’s customers.

The successful candidate will be a generalist and a strong problem-solver, thriving in startup ambiguity and empowered by experienced founders and a stellar executive team, with exposure to senior leadership and accelerated learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fast-growing startups or top-tier consulting firms or equivalent.
• Outstanding analytical skills across tools, with SQL experience preferred.
• Ability to switch contexts and learn across complex topics.
• Bias for action: drive things to completion.
• Customer-first mindset and impact on outcomes for customers.
• Clear written and verbal communication; engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfort with ambiguity and startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic projects identifying and leading business-critical initiatives to accelerate growth and efficiency.
• Lead day-to-day initiatives to uplift performance of functional teams and BAU setup.
• Own competitive intelligence and develop market understanding to shape solutions.
• Establish data foundations and promote a data-driven problem-solving culture.
• Prepare cross-functional updates for stakeholders on progress, risks and opportunities.
• Handle ad-hoc requests across business functions, including deep dives and issue resolution.
