Job summary

Arup is seeking a Design & Build Water Infrastructure Specialist Lead to guide strategic water projects across Ireland and the UK. You will lead bids and delivery, collaborate with major contractors, utilities and regulators, and drive innovative, sustainable design and build solutions.

You will mentor teams, manage commercial and regulatory aspects, and help grow Arup’s water business with a focus on high-quality outcomes and client value.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, or related water sector discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Strong professional reputation within the water sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead major water and wastewater Design & Build projects from bid stage to project completion.
• Build relationships with contractors, utilities, regulators and delivery partners.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical, ICA, digital and environmental disciplines.
• Shape bids, framework opportunities and contractor partnerships.
• Provide technical assurance for safe, buildable and compliant solutions.
• Lead governance, including risk management, change control and delivery performance.
• Champion integrated design and digital delivery to improve outcomes.
• Develop future Design & Build leaders within Arup.
