Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited seeks a Senior Civil Water Engineer to lead design delivery for water and wastewater schemes from feasibility to construction. You will prepare briefs and input into bids, coordinating with teams across Ireland and abroad to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires chartered status, strong understanding of water systems, and ability to manage risks and budgets while maintaining QA standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with experience leading design delivery.
• Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with current Ireland design standards and working practices.
• Strong commercial, contractual and programme understanding; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver water and wastewater schemes from feasibility to detailed design.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work and input into bid proposals.
• Collaborate with Ireland and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage projects or support the Project Manager within budget and programme.
• Identify and manage project risks and ensure quality in design.
