Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Water Engineering team in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering complex, multi-disciplinary water infrastructure projects and shaping technical strategy across UK & Ireland.

You will mentor engineers, manage projects and collaborate with international teams, while driving excellence in design standards and client advisory services. Hybrid working with office presence across multiple locations is offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading water engineering projects.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong track record in delivering complex water infrastructure with design standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and people leadership to a team of Water Engineers delivering complex projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage programme, budgets and milestones.
• Produce, review and approve high‑quality technical deliverables (reports, drawings, calculations).
• Lead and influence best practice, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Grow and manage Water Engineering capability within the Irish business.
