Job summary

ESB is seeking a Joint System Operation Technical Delivery Lead to steer the design of the future TSO/DSO Operating Model and deliver key JSOP tasks with clear milestones.

The role involves coordinating with the Flexibility Market Design team, engaging with ESB Networks, EirGrid and CRU, and ensuring smooth handover to business as usual through structured governance and active stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of power system development and reactive power management.
• Understanding of DER integration impacts on distribution networks.
• Ability to analyse complex technical and market documentation and translate to actions.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to plan and communicate requirements and progress.
• Experience delivering projects or work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in designing the future TSO/DSO Operating Model.
• Lead JSOP task delivery with clear milestones and ownership.
• Identify stakeholders and delivery parties across DMSO and other parts of the business.
• Ensure alignment with key principles and smooth transition to business-as-usual.
