Job summary

The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) is seeking a Joint System Operation Technical Delivery Lead to drive the design of the future JSOP operating model and coordinate cross‑team delivery across ESB Networks, EirGrid and CRU.

Based in Leopardstown with smart working and hybrid attendance, the role offers a salary of €71,000 to €84,000 per year and opportunities to lead critical national energy transition initiatives.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of power system development and active/reactive power management.
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex technical and market documents.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams across ESB Group, EirGrid and CRU.
• Self-motivated, able to plan and communicate requirements to progress projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of the JSOP operating model.
• Coordinate with TSO/DSO lead in Flexibility Market Design team to scope tasks.
• Identify stakeholders and accountable parties across the business.
• Deliver incentivised JSOP tasks and manage milestones.
• Engage with ESB Networks to ensure adherence to principles and smooth transition to BAU.
