Job summary

ESB is seeking a Transmission Strategy professional to support performance management, monitoring and reporting across TAO/TSO processes. You will prepare multiannual plans, assist external audits, respond to consultations and contribute to quarterly and annual transmission performance reporting for CRU.

The role emphasizes collaboration with ESB teams, delivering TAO requirements, and enhancing internal TAO/TSO processes within a flexible, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ relevant experience with particular emphasis on performance monitoring and reporting.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder skills.
• A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build relationships with EirGrid and key internal stakeholders by ensuring a culture of proactive and open communication.
• Collaborate closely with other teams across ESB (Regulation, Programme, Finance, E&M P, and Regions) to ensure TAO requirements are delivered.
• Monitor and report on delivery of transmission requirements in PR5 with a particular emphasis on securing incentive income.
• Develop and manage initiatives for improvements in internal TAO processes and in joint TAO/TSO processes with emphasis on the Transmission Outage Programme and capital works delivery.
• Support and contribute to the Transmission team in developing and leading innovative plans and solutions to improve TAO/TSO collaboration and information exchange to meet PR5 challenges and emerging needs.
