Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Stakeholder Communications Manager for a major rail and transport infrastructure programme in Ireland. Based in Ireland or willing to relocate, you will oversee stakeholder management and communications across the programme lifecycle to ensure clear, coordinated engagement in a technically complex environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing stakeholders and communications in infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement across project lifecycles.
• Experience leading stakeholder and communications on high-value metro rail projects.
• Able to develop strategies, processes, standards and reporting frameworks.
• Influence stakeholders and drive best practices across technical activities.
• Understanding of design and delivery in architecture, engineering and construction.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for senior governance bodies.
• Knowledge of quality management and process improvement in construction or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and updating stakeholder management strategy, processes, controls and reporting.
• Updating communications strategies to support effective programme delivery and transparent engagement.
• Coordinating stakeholder activities across the lifecycle of a major transport infrastructure programme.
• Developing stakeholder management and communications requirements for contractors during procurement.
• Assessing contractor submissions against stakeholder and communications requirements.
• Working with delivery partners to coordinate stakeholder management across contracts.
• Engaging with stakeholders at all levels and guiding process improvement.
• Reporting progress, risks and material issues to Project Board and governance teams.
