Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to lead communications and engagement across major Irish infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working arrangement with Dublin, Cork or Galway offices or client sites, and requires delivering stakeholder maps, strategies, events and client reporting.

You will develop project narratives, manage teams, and pursue new business opportunities while ensuring inclusive, accessible engagement for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering communications, engagement and consultation on infrastructure projects.
• Track record in business development and winning new opportunities.
• Experience leading teams and developing junior staff.
• Knowledge across infrastructure sectors (transport, energy, water) preferred.
• Strong communication, inclusion and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications strategies and delivery plans for projects.
• Identify stakeholders and establish engagement strategies.
• Plan and deliver events, manage logistics and Q&As.
• Liaise with clients, build new business opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Manage projects, teams and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery.
