Matchtech is recruiting a Project Manager to support a major rail infrastructure programme in Warrington. This permanent role leads community engagement, strengthens relationships between the project, contractors, and local communities, and ensures activities align with project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations or communications within the rail, construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple engagement activities.
  • Understanding of public consultation, community relations and stakeholder engagement principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
  • Awareness of legislation, regulatory requirements and risks affecting infrastructure projects and community engagement.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with project teams, contractors, stakeholders and local communities.
  • Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach to working in a complex project environment.

Job description

We are looking for an individual whom is presently based in Ireland or willing to fully relocate.
