Job summary

doddl.ie is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to lead the development and ongoing oversight of the firm’s regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks, providing independent challenge to senior management and the Board.

You will monitor regulatory obligations, manage risk registers, oversee investigations, and ensure good customer outcomes across governance, product governance, data protection, and cyber risk, while guiding policy and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory oversight within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Central Bank of Ireland regulations and consumer protection requirements.
• Experience in mortgages, retail banking, insurance, or a similar regulated consumer-facing financial services sector.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, implement effective controls, and provide constructive challenge to senior management.
• Experience engaging directly with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Knowledge of mortgage credit and insurance distribution regulations.
• Experience within a technology-enabled or digital financial services business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Compliance Framework and annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Monitor regulatory requirements including Central Bank of Ireland obligations.
• Maintain the regulatory obligations register and assess regulatory developments.
• Provide regulatory guidance and challenge to management and business teams.
• Review and maintain compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Conduct compliance reviews, file audits and thematic assessments.
• Identify control weaknesses and oversee remediation.
• Manage regulatory reporting, returns, inspections and engagement with regulators.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the Board.
• Develop and maintain Risk & Compliance reporting and dashboards covering key risk, compliance and customer outcome indicators.
