Job summary

Flogas Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to join the newly formed PMO, guiding strategic and operational initiatives. You will coordinate between management, stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality targets.

The role emphasizes change management, process improvement, and governance across a fast-paced energy environment, with hybrid work options in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a PM in energy/utilities IT & business projects.
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC and change control processes.
• Proven track record delivering full project lifecycles: planning, budgeting, resourcing, risk/issue mgmt.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across all levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience leading change management for new systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid governance frameworks; PM qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, resource plans, and track progress; manage risks, issues, dependencies.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholders; build strong relationships across business, IT, vendors.
• Develop and execute stakeholder management and communication plans for different audiences and phases.
• Manage change management activities: readiness, training, communications to support adoption.
• Facilitate governance and project intelligence: steering committees, status reporting, metrics.
• Manage project budgets and resourcing; monitor spend and escalate as needed.
• Identify, assess, mitigate risks and issues; drive resolution.
• Ensure IT projects follow SDLC and control points; ensure documentation and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with BAs and technical teams to translate requirements into outcomes.
• Ensure handover to BAU; contribute to PMO process improvements and governance.
