Johnson Controls Systems & Service Ltd - HVAC Ireland invites applications for a Junior Product Engineer based in Dublin. You will support mechanical design and testing of air‑cooled chiller components for the European market, under close supervision, and contribute to exciting product development projects.

The role develops expertise in fluid/thermal principles, 3D CAD, and compliance with CE, PED, Machinery Directive, EN 378 and EN 14511.

Formación

• Entry level; internship, co-op, or placement preferred.
• Understanding of fundamental fluid and thermal principles.
• Familiarity with CE marking, PED, Machinery Directive, EN 378 and EN 14511 is a plus.
• Able to organize and process data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support mechanical design and performance of air‑cooled chiller components for the European market.
• Assist with laboratory testing and factory activity; collect and present data.
• Follow project plans and work under supervision; contribute to design reviews.
• Learn and apply European mechanical and refrigeration codes and standards (CE marking, PED, Machinery Directive, EN 378, EN 14511).
• Provide day‑to‑day support to factory operations and the laboratory, and assist with design changes.
