Job summary

The Health and Safety Authority is recruiting an Internal Communications Executive in Dublin. You will lead a high-impact internal communications plan, translating priorities into clear messages that staff want to read, while supporting managers across the organisation to communicate effectively.

You will report to the Head of Communications and Customer Relations and work to strengthen culture, performance and governance across the public sector regulator.

Qualifications

• A Level 7 qualification (or higher) in a relevant discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in an internal communications role.
• A track record of working with senior managers to deliver successful internal comms outcomes.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and engaging.
• Experience using internal comms channels and tools such as intranet, email, webinars, staff events or digital content platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously review processes and procedures to support effective internal communication.
• Translate organisational strategy, regulatory priorities and operational initiatives into clear, accessible and staff-relevant messaging.
• Ensure internal communications reinforce the HSA’s vision and values.
• Oversee and continuously improve the internal communications channels (intranet, webinars, leadership updates).
• Provide guidance and support to managers in planning and delivering effective internal communications.
