Job summary

The Health and Safety Authority is seeking a Head of Internal Communications to design and deliver high-impact internal messaging that supports performance and culture across Ireland.

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Customer Relations, you will turn strategy into clear messages for staff and help managers communicate effectively. The role emphasizes alignment, accessibility, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in internal communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to simplify complex information.
• Experience using internal comms channels (intranet, email, webinars, digital content).

Responsibilities

• Develop and review internal comms processes and procedures.
• Translate strategy into clear staff messaging and plan delivery.
• Support managers with effective internal communications and content.
• Coordinate with senior management and divisions for aligned messaging.
• Monitor effectiveness and provide insights for improved engagement.
