Job summary

Tuath Housing Association is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead a central procurement function for non-property spend across the organisation. You will establish governance, develop processes, and manage supplier relationships to deliver value for money while supporting budget controls and financial governance.

The role requires extensive experience in tendering, cost optimisation, and contract management within a regulated or not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Third level qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Commerce or related.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy for non-property goods and services.
• Establish and maintain procurement procedures, controls and governance frameworks.
• Promote best practice procurement standards across the organisation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and delegated authority requirements.
• Develop procurement reporting and KPIs to support decision-making.
• Provide procurement guidance to managers and budget holders.
• Lead competitive quotations, tendering and supplier selection processes.
• Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements to achieve value.
• Monitor supplier performance, service delivery and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate contract renewals and procurement planning.
