Job summary

Hostelworld is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for a 12-month contract based in Ireland. You will partner with Product and Technology leaders, guide managers, and help shape a high-performing, AI-aware culture in a remote-first, Dublin-centered hub.

The role focuses on manager effectiveness, restructurings, and cross-jurisdiction HR support, with weekly in-person collaboration at the Dublin office and flexible remote work rest of the week.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a senior HR Business Partner, ideally supporting product and technology teams in tech, e-commerce or digital business.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support Product and Technology managers to lead well: set goals, conduct 1:1s, give feedback, manage performance per Manager Standards.
• Deliver core people processes: performance and reward cycle, goal setting, talent review, succession planning.
• Provide organisation design and change support as teams grow.
• Help teams build capability, including confidence with AI tools and remote-first practices.
• Manage employee relations cases with sound judgement and policy compliance across jurisdictions.
• Use people data to give leaders clear, evidence-based advice.
• Champion Culture Code through recruitment, onboarding and recognition.
• Act as a deputy to the CPO when needed.
