Job summary

Ballymore, a leading Irish property developer, seeks a People Business Partner on a fixed-term contract from November/December 2026 to February 2028. You will partner with leaders to drive business performance, engagement and organisational success in the Ireland team.

Key areas include employee relations, payroll, recruitment support, onboarding and HR policy development, plus driving wellbeing and engagement initiatives. Strong know‑how of Irish employment law and payroll is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a People Business Partner, HRBP or senior HR Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations practices.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Payroll experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience producing HR metrics and reports.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and leaders to deliver commercially focused people solutions.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded People Business Partner to join our Ireland team on a fixed-term contract from November/December 2026 until February 2028.

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Contract: Fixed-Term (November/December 2026 to February 2028)

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

• Partner with managers and leaders to deliver commercially focused people solutions.

Payroll, Systems & Reporting

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Act as an escalation point for payroll-related queries.

  Employee Engagement & Wellbeing

  • Lead and coordinate wellbeing initiatives and programmes.
  • Support employee engagement activities and feedback initiatives.
  • Produce internal communications and people-related updates.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  About You

  You'll be an experienced HR professional with strong business partnering capability and a passion for creating positive employee experiences.

  Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations practices.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Demonstrable payroll experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing HR metrics and reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  Desirable

  • Experience using Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Experience leading or coordinating administrative teams and workflows.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, multi-site or project-based environment.
