Job summary

Datavant is seeking an experienced EMEA Human Resources Business Partner to join our People team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, maternity cover starting November 2026. Based in Galway on a hybrid basis, you will partner with Product and Technology leaders across EMEA and support country priorities.

You will guide organisational design, workforce planning and employee relations while collaborating with Legal, Compensation and Finance to deliver strategic people initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an HRBP or senior generalist in a complex, fast-paced organisation.
• Experience supporting Product and Technology teams.
• Extensive experience managing employee relations in Ireland and the UK.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and UK employment law.
• Experience leading organisational change, restructuring and performance processes.
• Experience delivering HR projects from development to implementation.
• Ability to be both strategic partner and hands-on practitioner.
• Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills.
• Excellent judgement with handling confidential matters.
• Analytical and data-driven with workforce insights.
• Project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools in HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with VP leaders and managers and provide practical, business‑oriented advice.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organisational design.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Coach managers through sensitive people issues with discretion.
• Support organisational change and restructuring activities and communications.
• Drive annual HR processes: performance reviews, compensation planning and talent reviews.
• Use data to identify workforce trends and inform decisions.
• Lead regional HR projects, policy development and implementation.
• Maintain awareness of employment law and best practices across EMEA.
• Ensure compliance with regional programmes, leave and benefits practices.
