Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support to senior leaders within a large, multi-site organisation based in Dublin. The role focuses on aligning people strategies with business objectives, managing complex employee relations, and driving initiatives across talent management, organisational development and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior HR, business partnering or HR advisory role within a large or complex organisation.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent desirable; experience in construction, engineering or project-based environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational development.
• Lead complex employee relations cases, investigations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Support change management initiatives and advise managers on performance management and employee development.
• Drive employee engagement, inclusion, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
• Analyse HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with recruitment, HR operations and other internal teams to improve HR processes and organisational effectiveness.
