Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner to work across Dublin or Belfast with UK travel, leading people strategies in a large multi-site organisation and partnering with senior leadership.

In this senior advisory role you will manage complex employee relations, guide organisational change, drive workforce planning and talent development, and use HR data to inform decisions while collaborating with HR colleagues to deliver integrated people solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a HR Business Partnering or senior HR advisory role.
• Experience within a large, multi-site organisation (2,000+ staff) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience leading complex employee relations cases.
• Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning.

Exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner looking to make a change!

Location: Dublin or Belfast, with UK travel

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a large, established organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Business Partner.

This is a senior, commercially focused HR role working closely with leadership teams to ensure the people strategy supports wider business objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor across a broad HR remit, taking the lead on complex employee relations matters, organisational change, workforce planning, talent development and employee engagement.

The organisation operates across multiple locations, so this role would suit someone comfortable working within a large, multi-site environment. Regular travel will form part of the position.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives
• Advise on workforce planning, talent, succession and organisational change
• Act as a trusted advisor on complex people matters

Employee Relations & Performance

• Lead complex ER cases, including investigations, grievances and disciplinaries
• Coach managers on performance, development and HR best practice
• Ensure employment law and internal policies are consistently applied

Talent Development & Engagement

• Support talent, succession and leadership development initiatives
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and retention
• Identify skills gaps and development priorities

HR Data & Continuous Improvement

• Use HR data and workforce trends to support business decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve HR policies, processes and ways of working

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees
• Collaborate with wider HR teams to deliver joined-up people solutions
• Support wider HR projects and organisational change programmes

About You

• Significant experience within a HR Business Partnering or senior HR advisory role
• Experience within construction, infrastructure or a similar project-led environment is highly desirable
• Experience working across a large (2,000+), complex or multi-site organisation
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and talent initiatives
• Confidence influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable using HR data and insights to inform decisions
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
• CIPD accreditation or a similar professional HR qualification would be advantageous
