Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead the people function of an established, internationally operating organisation in South Dublin with hybrid work options.

You will shape and deliver the HR strategy, advise on complex people matters, and ensure effective HR policies, systems and processes to support the workforce. With a small HR team, you will drive stakeholder engagement and balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Typically 8–10 years' HR experience with senior leadership exposure.
• Strong strategic and hands-on HR delivery capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and advisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the HR strategy aligned to organisational objectives.
• Partner with ELT and senior managers on people strategy and design.
• Lead complex employee relations cases and advise on legislation.
• Review and develop HR policies and frameworks for compliance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning and retention.
• Manage HR operations, reporting, benefits and governance.
• Support HR matters across an international workforce.
• Drive culture, diversity, inclusion and leadership development.
• Develop and mentor the HR Officer and team.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes while balancing priorities.
