- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team and senior managers, providing advice on people strategy, organisational design, culture and workforce matters.
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, providing practical guidance on performance management, employee engagement and employment legislation.
- Review and develop HR policies, procedures and frameworks to ensure they remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and retention.
- Manage HR operations, systems, reporting, employee benefits and people-related governance and compliance.
- Support HR matters across an international workforce, including cross-border employment and differing local requirements.
- Lead initiatives relating to organisational culture, diversity and inclusion, management capability and employee development.
- Manage, support and develop the HR Officer, ensuring the delivery of an effective and responsive HR service.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and practices while balancing longer-term strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands.
The Ideal Candidate
- Typically 8-10 years' HR experience, including experience at a senior HR management or leadership level.
- A strong background across both strategic HR and hands-on operational delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience advising and influencing senior leaders.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex and sensitive people matters.
- Broad HR expertise spanning policy development, performance management, organisational development, recruitment and employment compliance.
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and take a practical, solutions-focused approach within a lean team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- A relevant HR qualification, such as a Level 8 degree or equivalent professional qualification, such as CIPD.
