Job summary

Jungheinrich Ireland is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of new, used and rental trucks, batteries, chargers and accessories. Reporting to the Enablement Director, you will source equipment and ensure the fleet is structured for profitability.

You will manage inventory, pricing, asset maintenance, and disposal, collaborate with Area Sales Managers and other departments, and ensure compliance and budgeting.

Qualifications

• FETAC level 7 degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Experience with SAP and/or CRM systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work across regions as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of new, used and short-term rental trucks, including batteries, chargers and accessories.
• Source suitable equipment and ensure the fleet is optimally structured for profitability.
• Manage fleet inventory, monitor turnover and address stock imbalances.
• Implement pricing strategies to optimise margins and support sales targets.
• Ensure maintenance, regulatory compliance and asset disposal processes are followed.
